What the heck is Oakland thinking going into the season with Rich Gannon almost over the hill, and without a capable backup?!

Forget the Lions, The Raiders are now officially the worst team in football!

what do you mean not capable?

In 3 years in the NFL he has played in 10 games. So you cant go by that...

In College he wasnt terrible - so there is no question he is capable at least in someones eyes.

I hate the raiders and I'm not here to stick up for them but this guy isnt that bad.

I can think of worse...

Thats funny to me that you think that - because he drove the ball pretty well down the field and very possibly could have tied the game - of not ran it in himself.

Tuisasopo has made a statement for himself and I think that you guys are nuts not seeing that.

Gannon sucks and that is no secret. He's had the team around him for a few years but it took him too long to get there.

One more note - I think if they had started tuiasasopo they might have won that game.

you know what..that guy made some dumb mistakes that cost them the game but I think he played better then gannon. And that defense was stiffling...Had that back up started...I think KC looses. Oakland wins their next game...im sure of it.

oakland definitely needs to start tui......you take the slants away from gannon and he`s helpless...the guy never was a proficient downfield passer....i`d like to know what percentage of his passing yardage was YAC(yards after the catch)?.....probably as high a percentage as most any qb......

the Jury's still out on this guy. If he can reduce his mistakes and somehow throw more consistantly accurate passes, heh, yeah then he's be Joe Montana. I don't know, he had a poor preseason this year but showed some promise in games in the past. It's nice to see a quaterback back there that can actually scramble, adds another demension that Gannon has lost. I think they might have won with Tui in, the Raiders D played tough and they wouldn't have needed a lot of points for the W.

Guys, I created this thread after his first 2~3 series when he looked absolutely ridiculous out there. He definitely changed my opinion of him, I admit that.
